Erik L Scarlet This album is badass from beginning to end. This band has earned a spot on The Eat Sleep And Breathe Metal Show.
Favorite track: Emotions.

warchrist30 Got a bit of a Gothenberg vibe without feeling like a retread At the Gates. A very strong melodeath album! Favorite track: All Has Vanished.

bmurator Swedish Melodic Death Metal. This has some very nice catchy riffs & melodies. The vocals are also almost perfectly understandable which is quite a rarity in this game! Recommended! Favorite track: The End.
YomaBarr

YomaBarr While sounding like straight from the turn of the century melodeath at the first listen it still reveals enough little hooks at the next to keep ears if not happy then at least content. And any band who make melodeath on the deathly side, not drowned in weepy synths, have my vote.
Besides, nice to listen to in 2020 for obvious reasons ;)

MindOverFour Only hearing the two pre-order tracks, I think this is going to be seriously good. Good mid-tempo thrash which a chainsaw guitar sound that reminds me of Entombed, Cancer, and 90's Euro death metal. It also reminds me of Ill Natured Spiritual Invasion by Old Man's Child, but with some slower crunchy bits. Favorite track: The Plauge.

about

In 2014, we started to work with our second album entitled "The Plague." We had some lyrics as well as fragments for the title track. The writing went slow for a while, but at the beginning of 2015 we managed to put 10 songs togehter that we all were satisfied with. The songs were recorded in late 2015 after a lot of technical problems during the recording. We contacted Roberto Toderico, who did the artwork for "Where the Angels Fall," and he made some awesome artwork that fits well with the concept of the album. The Plague is basicly 10 diffrent song that all deal with the concept "plague," all from a futuristic perspective to a more ancient perspective.

The lyrics are also about how people justify terrible act by pretending to be chosen by god or by gods. The album is a mixture of different types of metal. We were not bound to boundaries when we created songs for Mordenial. Our definition of the "The Plague" is a heavy album with a lot of variation. We are very satisfied with the songs that came out of it, and hopefully you will like them too. Album recorded in Departure/Expire Studios in late 2015/early 2016. Mixed/mastered in Garageland Studios 2016 by Ronnie Björnström. Artwork: Roberto Toderico. Released July 31, 2017
